Broken Man is the autobiographical telling of Andrew Walter Allen's bizarre and near fatal adventures through Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. After escaping the grips of depression and suicide, this journey marked the beginning of a new life for Andrew, which included, a spiritual awakening, and the opening of the doors to Andrew's latent artistic talents. In the 15 years since the events of this book, Andrew has had significant success as an artist. He has sold hundreds of original paintings, written six books and over a hundred songs, learned how play musical instruments, acted in numerous television commercials, produced and directed two theatrical productions, is currently in editing on a movie project, and can dance like a monkey.
Andrew's passion of working with youth and children has developed over the past fifteen years into The Revolution Project. The vision of the project is to motivate and facilitate young people to build and network self-sustaining orphanages around the world. The project has an emphasis on the arts, organic sustainability, natural conservation, and spiritual discovery. He currently lives and is working on a project in Costa Rica.
